This year, I discovered a deep love for the rich decadence of vanilla fragrances—yes, it surprised me too! What I adore most about vanilla is its versatility: it's a scent that works year-round.
In the colder months, I love vanilla scents with warm, cozy notes like amber, marshmallow, or caramel—perfect for fall and winter. But in the summer, I enjoy layering vanilla with lighter, breezier notes like sea salt or coconut for that effortless, beachy vibe.
Check out my favourites (so far!) and let me know if you have any recommendations in the comments.

Al Rehab, Choco Musk
Key Notes: milk chocolate, vanilla base, and white musk
This intense fragrance comes in both eau de parfum and fragrance oil. It will have you smelling like a freshly baked brownie all day. Need I say more? Oh, and a little goes a long way.

Replica, By The Fireplace
Key Notes: Clove Oil, Chestnut Accord, Vanilla Accord
This is hands down my favourite fragrance for the winter. You will smell like a warm toasty marshmallow allllll day long. The clove notes stand out a bit more (at least on me) than the vanilla, but this gourmand fragrance has captured my heart and I refuse to not share my love of it with you all.

Phlur, Vanilla Skin
Key Notes: Sugar Crystals, Cashmere Wood, Vanilla
What can I say, Phlur is that girl. This is a classic vanilla scent. It is long lasting and smells luxurious. This fragrance is perfect for the colder months.

The 7 Virtues - Santale Vanille
Key Notes: Myrrh, Vanilla, Sandalwood
I think this scent could be used all year, but some might say it's better suited to the warmer months, and I enjoyed using this in the evenings at dinner on my most recent vacation.
A bit less intense than some of the others I've mentioned here, but still decadent and luxurious.

Juliette has a gun, Vanilla Vibes
Key Notes: Sea Salt, Natural Vanilla, Sandalwood
I would say this is certainly more of a summer scent because of the sea salt notes. When I first tried this fragrance I didn't imagine how well vanilla would pair with sea salt. It is unique in comparison to other vanilla fragrances. It also lasts all day.

Sud Pacifique, Vanille Fragrances
Vanille Coco Key Notes: Coconut, whipped cream, vanilla bean
Sud Pacifique has a range of delicious and long lasting vanilla fragrances. The Vanille Coco is nice for the warmer months because of the coconut notes, and a little bit goes a long way with these bad boys. They also have fragrances such as Vanille Apricot, Vanille Blackberry, and of course, the Vanille Intense if you want something classic and good for all around wear.

Bath & Body Works, Vanilla Romance
Key Notes: notes: fresh cardamom, vanilla absolute and captivating woods.
Maybe this should be considered more of an honourable mention, given that B&BW has a range of yummy and delicious scents. (Including Vanilla Cashmere!) I can't say that this fine fragrance mist has much lasting power but boy does it smell great. In many ways it reminds me of By The Fireplace because of the sweet, warm notes. I would say if you're looking for an affordable option and a good place to start exploring vanilla fragrances for the winter months -- this may be a safe bet.
I hope you like my recommendations!
